We proudly offer CPR level “A” and AED certification courses in Fort McMurray. These courses are designed for individuals that only need basic CPR certification without first aid. This course takes approximately 4 hours to complete and provides successful candidates with an award that is valid for 3 years. Certification
Participants that attend 100% of the course and complete the multiple choice test to a minimum score of 75% will receive a workplace approved CPR level “A” and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years.

The cost of this stand-alone CPR course is 64.99. Course fee includes workplace approved certification fees, manual and all applicable taxes.

Participants that take CPR level “A” course will learn the following content

- The Emergency Medical System (9-1-1)
- H.A.IN.E.S Recovery Position
- Angina, Strokes and Heart Attacks
- CPR for Adult Victims
- Choking rescues for Adults
- Fort McMurray First Aid Check-Call-Care System
- Managing Deadly Bleeding
- Alberta Workplace CPR Requirements
Prerequisites
Participants must be at least 12 years of age to register for this course.
Refunds and Transfers
Refunds and transfers are not accepted within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours of this level “A” course participants can receive a full refund or transfer to another course, date, location or time.

Additional Notes
Lunch is not provided during this course. We do provide a microwave and fridge for preparing and storing food. Please wear comfortable clothes as you will be moving around.
