Re-Certification Courses

Participants that need to renew certification can do so by registering for first aid and CPR re-certification courses. We proudly serve the Fort McMurray region with workplace approved re-certification classes that meet or exceed Alberta workplace requirements. These courses are designed to challenge individuals and strengthen knowledge and skills of previously trained first aiders. Standard first aid and CPR re-certification

These re-certifications take approximately 6 hours to complete. Participants that complete this course receive a certificate that meet Alberta workplace standards and is valid for 3 years. Participants can choose to re-certify either CPR level “A”, “C” or “HCP” with this course.

Standard Childcare First Aid

This renewal course takes approximately 6 hours to complete and includes re-certification in CPR level “B”. Certificates meet workplace standards for daycare / childcare workers.

CPR level “HCP” 

This stand-alone CPR renewal course takes approximately 4 hours to complete. Certification includes AED training and is valid for 3 years.

CPR level “C” 

This CPR “only” re-certification course takes approximately 4 hours to complete and includes AED training and certification. The award is valid for 3 years.

Prerequisites

Prior to registering for any re-certification course, please ensure that you meet the required prerequisites. Participants will have to bring a current award to the certification in order to be issued a new certificate.

Unfortunately, if your current award is not shown above, it is because St Mark James does not allow for renewals for the program in Alberta.
